Feb 20, 1977 – Gail Kim was born in Toronto, Canada.

Feb 20, 1978 – Bob Backlund defeated “Superstar” Billy Graham for the WWF Championship in Madison Square Garden.

Feb 20, 1989 – NWA held Chi-Town Rumble in Chicago, Illinois. The main event featured one of the more memorable bouts in the legendary feud between Ric Flair and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, when Steamboat bested Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Feb 21, 1979 – Carlito was born Carlos Colon Jr. in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Feb 21, 1980 – Brodus Clay was born George Murdoch in Los Angeles, California.

Feb 21, 1985 – In a now infamous incident, ABC airs an episode of its news program 20/20, during which WWF wrestler “Dr. D” David Shultz hits reporter John Stossel repeatedly in the ears after Stossel insinuates that professional wrestling is “fake”. Stossel later sued and received a $280,000 settlement from the WWF.

Feb 21, 1985 - Crimson was born Tommy Mercer in Cleveland, Ohio.

Feb 21, 1998 – ECW held Cyber Slam ’98 at the ECW Arena. Shane Douglas and Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Rob Van Dam and Sabu in the shows main event.

Feb 23, 1997 – WCW held SuperBrawl VIII at the famous Cow Palace in San Francisco, California. Hollywood Hogan defended his WCW Championship against “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in the main event.

Feb 23, 2008 – Ring of Honor held it’s sixth anniversary show, with Nigel McGuinness defending his ROH Title against Bryan Danielson in the main event.

Feb 23, 2010 – WWE NXT debuted. In the shows premier main event, Chris Jericho defeated Daniel Bryan.

Feb 25, 1949 – “Nature Boy” Ric Flair was born Richard Fliehr in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Feb 25, 1982 – Maria Kanellis was born in Ottawa, Illinois.

Feb 26, 1926 – Verne Gagne was born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Feb 26, 1967 – Verne Gagne defeats “Mad Dog” Vachon for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship in St. Paul, Minnesota.
